Delivering a world-class marina requires more than pontoons and berths. It requires reliable infrastructure that keeps the waterfront running every day. At Queenstown Marina, M-TECH pedestals played a central role in creating a seamless experience for boaters, residents, and commercial operators.

Set against the backdrop of Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown Marina was designed to be more than a berthing facility. The vision was to create a vibrant waterfront destination where boating and community life come together. To achieve this, the project team prioritised precision, functionality, and innovative solutions.

M-TECH pedestals were delivered throughout the marina to supply dependable power and water connections at every berth. Designed specifically for marine environments, the pedestals ensure durability in challenging conditions while offering flexibility for both private and commercial users.

By combining sleek design with practical features, the pedestals contribute to the marina’s high-quality finishes and user-friendly infrastructure.

Projects Highlights

  • 197 Berths: Including 65 private berths and an additional 85 during expansion, accommodating vessels from 8 to 18 metres.
  • 17 Commercial Floating Sheds: Now home to businesses such as a bakery and a pilates studio, supported by reliable utilities.
  • Fuel and Pump-Out Facilities: Integrated with marina operations to support all users.

Today, Queenstown Marina is a key part of the local landscape, offering secure berthing, commercial opportunities, and improved public access to Lake Wakatipu. M-TECH pedestals help power this vibrant waterfront, proving that the right equipment can make all the difference in transforming vision into reality.
